A fuel injector is a computer controlled solenoid that, during the intake stroke of the engine, when energized, releases fuel into a cylinder. BWD injectors are designed to spray the fuel in a specific pattern which is determined, to best atomize fuel within the cylinder ensuring efficient combustion.

- High quality insulated copper wire is used to make the coil to protect against electrical shorts.
