2020 SMP 'Women in Auto Care' Scholarship
This year we are proud to announce our new SMP 'Women in Auto Care' Scholarship. We will be giving away two $5,000 scholarships to women pursuing a career in automotive technology or repair. We are excited to partner with Women in Auto Care (WiAC) for this program, an organization dedicated to the advancement, education and empowerment of women within the auto care industry.
Who’s it for? Women studying automotive technology or repair, or pursuing a career in the automotive industry

Intermotor 'Import Leader' Scholarship Contest

Enter the TechSmart ‘Show Us Your Shop’ Contest for your chance to win a $100 gift card and have your shop featured on the cover of a TechSmart® New Parts Guide!

Intermotor Import Leader Scholarship
Standard Motor Products wants to invest in the future of the automotive import market, which is why the company announced its Intermotor Import Leader Automotive Scholarship. Starting on March 1, two aspiring technicians or tech students pursuing an education in automotive technology or automotive repair at a technical school or college will be eligible to win a $5,000 scholarship toward their tuition.
To be considered for the scholarship, students should visit www.IntermotorImportLeader.com. There, they’ll be asked to upload a photo and, if desired, a video. They’ll also need to answer a series of automotive industry-related questions. Each entry will be judged on how relevant, creative, and thoughtful it is in regards to the automotive import market. The deadline for applications is June 30, 2017.
'Make It QWIK' Sweepstakes
If you have a need for speed, you should consider entering the ‘Make It QWIK’ Sweepstakes. The Grand Prize (which will be awarded to five people) is a trip for two to the Bob Bondurant® School of High Performance Driving in Chandler, AZ. Opened in 1968, the driving school features a custom 1.6-mile track designed by world champion driver Bob Bondurant. Sweepstakes winners will have the chance to race around the legendary track after they receive driving lessons from expert instructors in the school's pit-side classrooms.
